(808) 342-6305Physician-Led Migraine Treatment
Every migraine visit is evaluated and treated by a licensed MD — not a nurse practitioner or physician assistant. We treat acute migraine episodes on a walk-in basis at our Waikiki clinic in the International Market Place.
IV Migraine Protocol
- IV fluids (normal saline) for hydration
- Zofran and other anti-nausea medications (Phenergan, Reglan)
- Dexamethasone (steroid anti-inflammatory) or Toradol (non-steroid anti-inflammatory)
Lower-Cost Alternatives
Orally Disintegrating Tablets (ODT)
Medication placed under the tongue — a less expensive alternative to IV treatment when appropriate for your symptoms.
Subcutaneous / Intramuscular Injection
Injected medications for migraine relief when IV therapy is not needed. Physician-evaluated and administered on-site.
